  4. David BK Golden, MD

    Dr. Golden graduated from McGill University School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine. He did his allergy-immunology fellowship at Johns Hopkins University, where he is an Associate Professor of Medicine. At Hopkins he directed a program of research studies on anaphylaxis and insect sting allergy for 30 years. He has numerous publications of original research, chapters and review articles.

    Dr. Golden is also the lead author of the Practice Parameter on Insect Sting Allergy, and an author contributing to several other Practice Parameters developed by the Joint Task Force (of the AAAAI, ACAAI, and JCAI). In 1984 he also founded a private practice in Baltimore, which has been recognized for academic quality and superior patient care.

    Dr. Golden is the Chief of the Allergy Division at Franklin Square Hospital, and is the Director of Allergy at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, where he has implemented an allergy-immunology curriculum and teaching service for the medical residents.
